No fewer than 10 persons lost their lives while others sustained various degrees of injuries in Kano State during a celebration that greeted the victory of General Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night.
It was gathered that five out of the seven persons that lost their lives were children who were crushed by a vehicle along Kofar Dawanau in Dala Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that five out of the seven persons that lost their lives were children who were crushed by a vehicle along Kofar Dawanau in Dala Local Government Area of the state.
A staff at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital who spoke on the ground of anonymity said seven persons were confirmed dead at the hospital on Tuesday night.
Additional injuries were recorded on Wednesday from acrobatic displays using cars, motorcycles and bicycles.
The source said the deceased met their end at various locations in the state and were brought into the hospital while celebrating Buhari’s victory at the polls.
Speaking on the incident, ASP Magaji Muswa Majiya, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, said no formal report had been made yet
