A 19-year-old woman from the north-eastern city of Figueres (Spain) was arrested on Tuesday on charges of supporting the “Self Declared Islamic State’’ (DAESH).

Spanish Minister of Interior Jorge Fernandez-Diaz said in Madrid that the woman was arrested by Spanish national police for allegedly establishing a support network for DAESH members and affiliates.

He said the allegedly sent fighters to the areas under DAESH control through safe routes and gave them advice about security
