Following the online medical examination held in Bwari, recently, the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Tor Uja has commended the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, for its effective and efficient conduct of the 2016 examination for medical personnel for pilgrimage exercise to Israel, Rome and Greece.
This was contained in a press statement obtained from the NCPC Media in Abuja yesterday.
According to the statement, Uja disclosed this during a courtesy call on him by the management staff of the Board.
He thanked JAMB for organising the online medical examination for the Commission for the second time. “We would like to build on that relationship,” he said.
He also commended for all their work, advising that it should continue and be sustained so as to improve in their service delivery.
Uja explained that organisations like JAMB, Judiciary, Military and the Police should be supported by the government to enable them fulfil their mandate.
He said JAMB should be given the opportunity to interface with Vice Chancellors of Universities and Rectors of Polytechnics to understand more about their vision and mission. “ the country needs to support JAMB to bring about intellectual equilibrium,” he added.
It said that the leader of the delegation, who is also the Director Quality Assurance of JAMB, Mr. John Okonkwo , represented registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede congratulated the Commission boss on his new appointment and pledged the support of the Board in sustaining a good working relationship between the two organisations.
