THERE was palpable confusion in Kaduna State over the week as 2019 governorship posters of Senator Shehu Sani have been defaced and in most cases removed. Sources have alleged that it is the Kaduna State Urban Development Authorities, KSUPDA, that is responsible for it. According to reports, most
affected are the Sani for 2019 governorship posters pasted around First Bank round about in Kaduna South local government area of the state. KASUPDA, according to Senator Sani used red paint to deface all the posters pasted by unknown supporters with “x”, marks directly on the face of the Senator’s image. “Not even a single one was skipped, clearly demonstrating that
it was a sponsored exercise,” he said. Findings revealed that posters of other potential candidates like Senator Hunkuyi, Ashiru among others, pasted were not defaced comprehensively as some were untouched unlike that of Sani. Senator Sani confirmed that it was KASUPDA, but calls made to the media aides of Governor to get their side of the story were not responded to.
