2023: El-Rufai’s next president of Nigeria – Prof. Saro-Laka



Coordinating Director, International Institute for Social Reformation, Democracy and Good Governance, ISORDEG, USA, Dr. Barika Saro-Laka has said current Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai would become Nigeria’s president come 2023.

The Associate Professor of Mass Communication with four American Universities, told Nigerian Pilot on phone that Gov. El-Rufai’s person and portfolio, qualifies him as next president of Nigeria.

He said only natural causes, electoral fraud or a personal decision not to run for the office, would stop El-Rufai from succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to him, “Only a leader with a steely heart as Gov. El-Rufai, can help Nigeria to survive the next two decades, considering the country’s embarrassing level of decay.”

Saro-Laka also revealed that God loves El-Rufai and has a purpose for preserving his life.

He noted that, “When El-Rufai was the Hon. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, towards the end of his era, he received not less than 40 devilish missiles from different angles without success.

He explained that Nigeria currently in a situation of a heavily pregnant woman, needing a careful midwife to deliver her of the baby safely, adding that El-Rufai is that needed midwife to do the assignment, as he called on Nigerians to both look at and embrace the reality on ground.

The associate professor said, “God’s choice of El-Rufai is sacrosanct, as he is a well articulated and pro-active person, with a spirit of fairness and justice, which he is a plus for the governor to prevent Nigeria’s abortion; come 2023 and thereafter.
He urged Nigerians to uphold capacity above zoning, in view of the present circumstances plaguing the country.

“People should stop crucifying Alhaji Mamman Daura over his views about the state of our nation because he said the truth.

“Many people are afraid to say the truth in certain situations or for selfish reasons, so let’s commend Daura for standing by the truth.

“The common masses would enjoy as; the level of poverty in our land would reduce, the high-rate of unemployment would be bashed, political appointments would spread across the tribes of our nation, the maltreatment of the vulnerable citizens would abate; public thieves would return loots and there would be accountability, amongst other salient issues,” he added.

Speaking further, Saro-Laka mentioned Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, running mate of the PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and current Governor of Ebonyi state, David Umahi, as other individuals, also capable of the job.
