Yamu further said officers and men of the command had been drafted to the area to forestall further attack as investigation had commenced on the incident. Meanwhile, the sole administrator of the local government area, Hon Vera Akua has condemned the attack, describing it as most unfortunate and barbaric. Speaking through her special assistant on Media, Mr Godwin Iwanan, the council boss expressed concerne that the attack came barely a month after a traditional ruler in the area was gruesomely murdered by unidentified persons.
