Abia North PDP backs Ikpeazu

We wish to use this medium to congratulate Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for his victory at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
This is a victory for the rule of law and survival of democracy in Nigeria.
It’s an indication that our democracy is working and the Nigerian judiciary alive to its responsibilities despite the attempt by few elements to tarnish it.
Having said this we wish to use this medium too to advice our brother Dr Uche Ogah to sheathe your sword and debar any prod by fifth columnist to push you to further legal acrobatic .
This will not be in your own interest and the interest of Abia state. Abia state needs peace now to make progress.
The resources being spent in this unnecessary legal tussle should change the tide of things in Abia state.
As a man who professes to be in the vineyard of the lord , it will be to your credit to bring peace than anomie in your state.
This is the time for you to use your wealth of experience, business connections and acumen to join hands with Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to realise the dreams of the founding Fathers of Abia state.
You are quite in the know that you had no case but you sought any legal and political loophole to achieve your political ambition .
Well, there is nothing wrong in someone having ambition but such ambition must be anchored on justice, equity and fairness.
You know that Abia state have a Charter of Equity which has always guided the state.
Please allow that Charter to continue working for the interest of the state.
You are still a young man and if it is the will of God for you to be Abia Governor at the nick of time you will realise it one day.
But for today and now it is the will of God for Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to be there. Nobody fights the will and plan of God.
Any move to move to the Supreme Court as some fifth columnists may wish to advise you should be resisted.
Such people do not mean well to you or to Abia state.
Such people just want to be sucking you dry knowing full well that as long as you are in court, they feather their nest.
We thank the Appeal Court judges that restored justice in Abia state.
We thank the Nigerian judiciary, Abians and all Nigerians that ensured that the miscarriage of justice by Justice Okon Abang was put in the public domain until the reversal.
The judiciary has proved to be the last hope of the common man.
Finally we call on Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to be magnanimous in victory and continue in his usual way to build bridges in both Abia state and Nigeria.
