Bauchi, sustained various
degrees of injuries.
He said victims were
evacuated by the police
patrol team attached
to GRA division to the
Abubakar Tafawa Balewa

treatment, where the

was certified dead by a
medical doctor while his
20 year old passenger
sustained fracture on her
In a related development,
nine people were killed in
another fatal accident on
the same day involving a
commercial hummer bus
with registration number
FKA -328 XA conveying 22
Police spokesman said
the accident occurred
along Azare- Bulkachuwa
road, and the driver,
Garba Mohammed of
Ndiski Ward, Potiskum,
was on high speed and
the rear tyre busted, the
vehicle somersaulted and
crashed inside the bush.
“As a result, victims
sustained various degrees
of injuries and
police patrol team
attached to Azare Division
visited the scene and
rushed casualties to
Federal medical Centre
Azare for treatment and
nine passengers, including
the driver were certified
dead while 13 others are
responding to treatment.”
SP Haruna stated
that the corpses had
been deposited at the
mortuary for postmortem
