Egyptian Football Association have lined up three friendly matches for the Pharaohs as they get set for the double header African Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifier against the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Pharaohs of Egypt will meet back to back in March 2016 tp decide who qualify for the CAF 2017 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Gabon.
Nigerian Pilot Sports gathered that the Egyptian team will play two international friendly games with AFCON 2013 runner up, Burkina Faso on January 24 and 28, 2016.
Another country being proposed by Egypt for a friendly match to prepare the Pharaohs for the double encounter with Eagles is Romania or Uzbekistan.
Egypt are currently top of Group G followed by Nigeria who is expected to beat their perennial rival to have the chance of qualifying for the Nations cup.
Tanzania and Chad Republic make up the numbers in the group as the two also face each other in a double header.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Nigerian Pilot Sports gathered has also stepped up plans for the Super Eagles to play top international friendly matches and according top NFF source the matches are likely to take place in Europe with England as possible destination for the proposed international matches.
