Nigeria vs Libya: We are ready to make Nigerians proud

Ex- international, Victor Agali has expressed optimism that the Super Eagles will pick one of their group tickets and qualify for Cameroon 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria will take on Libya in a 2019,AFCON qualifier on October 13 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Libya currently tops Group E with 4 points after two round of game. They are ahead of South Africa who also have the same number of points on goal difference while Nigeria occupies third position with three points with Seychelles at the bottom without any point.
But Agali in an interview with our correspondent, believes that not minding their present position, the Super Eagles will win their remaining matches and over turn the table to be in Cameroon.

” I’ m very happy with the Super Eagles performance against Seychelles in Victoria. Their away victory is an indication that they are ready to go. What it shows is that the team is gradually discovering their redeem and ready to win all their remaining group matches.
” Although many people will argue that Seychelles is not a strong opposition but beating them at home is commendable since there are no more minnows in African football and upsets do happen”, noted the former Olympic Marseille and Schalke 04 dependable player.

According to the one time Hansa Rostok and Sporting Tolou Var of France player who was also part of Sydney 2000 Olympics Dream Team squad, the Coach Gernot Rohr handled side understands that they cannot afford to lose or draw any of their remaining matches as doing so could jeopardise their chances of qualification and as such will take all the games serious.

” I want to tell you that all the players and the technical crew understands what is at stake and cannot afford to take chances in their remaining matches especially after loosing their opening qualifier game 0-2 at home to South Africa and as such are committed to avoiding such mistakes again because any drop in point could be dangerous”, concluded the one time NITEL FC of Lagos player.
