Seven-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba have appointed Paul Aigbogun as their new head coach.
Aigbogun replaces Kadiri Ikhana who was sacked following an alleged feud with the management of the club.
Media officer of Enyimba, Farriel Allaputa confirmed that talks have been held between Aigbogun and the Enyimba management.
“Coach Aigbogun and our chairman (Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu) have held talks and I can confirm to you that he (Aigbogun) has been confirmed as the new coach of the club,” Allaputa told supersport.com.
Aigbogun returns to Enyimba where he worked in the 2012/13 season amongst a consortium of coaches that included current Enugu Rangers coach, Imama Amapakabo and current Super Eagles assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf.
