Nigeria goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba has declared his main priority with Israeli top-flight returnees Bnei Yehuda is to keep their place in the top flight and feature in the Championship playoffs.
Aiyenugba was instrumental to the team’s return to the top flight in Israel at the end of last season after a season in the lower division.
“We are a very small team, so my target when the season starts is to stay in the top flight and qualify for the championship playoffs,” said Aiyenugba.
The team have been in Holland for pre-season training and Aiyenugba said has been a good exercise for the team.
“We started our pre-season in Israel, we played two games and won both. Wwe are in Holland now where we have played two games, won one and drew the other, so it has been a good preparation for us,” he said.
