Deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara, Alhaji Yinka Aluko has alleged that some security operatives prevented PDP agents from performing their duty.
Aluko said this after being accredited at his Ikokoro compound polling unit in Ilorin.
He said that the alleged polling units
include Zango area, lkokoro area and other areas in llorin South Local Government Area.
Aluko called on appropriate authorities to call the security agents to order.
On his part, Former Minister of Sports, Alhaji Bolaji Abdullahi, commended INEC for prompt delivery of election materials.
He made this observation at his residence in Anifowose in llorin after being accredited.
Abdullahi described the 2015 elections as unique and unprecedented in the history of Nigeria.
He added that government can be changed through the ballot and not barrel of gun.
It was reported that accreditation was conducted under a peaceful atmosphere in most parts of the llorin metropolis.
Security operatives could be seen across the state ensuring law and order.
There was massive turnout of voters in many of the polling units visited.
