Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has said that the reign of Oba Adetoye Alatishe, the Gbegande of Ososa Kingdom in Odogbolu Local Government Area, has brought peace to Ososa and Ijebuland.
Amosun gave the commendation at the thanksgiving service to commemorate the fifth coronation anniversary of the monarch yesterday.
Represented by his Deputy, Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, Amosun said Alatishe’s reign had brought remarkable growth to Ijebuland and Ogun State in general.
He said his administration had enjoyed a warm relationship with the residents of Odogbolu and Ososa people in particular since he assumed office four years ago.
The governor prayed God to give the monarch the grace to celebrate more peaceful reign over his kingdom.
The Olu of Itori, Oba Abdul-Fatai Akamo, who chaired the occasion, thanked Amosun for his developmental projects.
According to him, the people have never had it so good.
Akamo congratulated Alatishe for his selfless service to his people, which he said, had brought tremendous improvement to Ososa.
The highlight of the event was the conferment of chieftaincy titles to deserving individuals. NAN
