APC begs TUC, labour unions to shelve planned industrial action

RULING All Progressives Congress, APC, has pleaded with the leadership of Trade Union Congress, TUC, and organised labour to reason with government on the inevitability of its policy on petrol subsidy removal and deregulation, insisting government can no longer afford the luxury, and shelve the proposed industrial action.

The ruling party, on Tuesday, in a statement said it is not oblivious of the financial strains brought by the increase in fuel pump price and electricity rates.
