Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase has condoled with the people of Kogi State, Nigerians generally and the family of Audu over the demised of Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate in the last Saturday election.
Prince Audu died Sunday evening shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the Saturday governorship poll inconclusive.
In a condolence message, the IGP, through the Force PRO, ACP Olabisi Kolawole, prayed God to give the family and friends of late Audu the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and to grant the deceased eternal rest.
ACP Kolawole’s statement said: “IGP Arase commiserated with Nigerians, especially the people of Kogi State, family, friends and relations of the late Prince Audu, whose death was announced late Sunday, and prays God to give the family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and to grant the deceased eternal rest.”
