Judicial Commission of Inquiry sitting in Kaduna, yesterday, instructed the General Officer Commanding, GOC, 1 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major-General Adeniyi Oyebade, to reappear before it on April 25 for further questioning.
Chairman of the panel, Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba, gave the directive at yesterday’s sitting.
Since April 6 when the army made their presentation before the commission, a lot has been uncovered regarding all that transpired in Zaria between December 12-14.
However, this might not be unconnected with Garba’s decision to facilitate the recall of the GOC for further examination.
Following the information by Counsel to the army, Biola Oyebanji, that the GOC will not be available till April 21, the commission therefore fixed April 25 for Oyebade to appear before it.
