No less than seven individuals were slaughtered amid a shooting spree Kalamazoo County, Michigan, authorities said.

Altogether, eight individuals were shot in three areas Saturday, Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told CNN.

Each of the three shooting occurrences have all the earmarks of being connected, authorities said.

“What it would seem that is we have somebody quite recently driving around, discovering individuals and shooting them dead in their tracks,” Matyas told CNN offshoot WOOD-TV.

“This is your most noticeably awful bad dream, when you have someone quite recently driving around haphazardly murdering individuals.”

Police have a “solid suspect” in care, Kalamazoo Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley told CNN
