Awoniyi who scored a
hat-trick against Hoffenberg
led the rout as he got a
treble with Captain Musa
Muhammed and Ibrahim
Al Hassan completing the
damage in the first half.
The Flying Eagles are
expected to play their final
test match on Monday
against Freiburg U23 team
before leaving for New
Zealand later in the month.
Coach Manu Garba has
submitted his final list of 21
players on Friday afternoon
and will be hoping to have
the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho
and Isaac Success joins the
team before their departure
for New Zealand.
African champion Nigeria
will play her first match
against Brazil in New
Plymouth on the first day of
June, before other Group E
games against North Korea
and Hungary in the same
Nigeria won silver medals
at the U-20 World Cup in
1989 and 2005.
