Ariedo Braida, recently appointed by Barcelona as the man to handle the player market, flew to Turin to take a good look at Matteo Darmian. The Torino and Italy right-back impressed Braida greatly.

“Darmian looked really good to me, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement there yet”, he commented. The 25-year-old player, who is happy to serve down the left or right flanks, may be the man brought in to fill Dani Alves’s shoes.
