submitting his resignation
letter to the party, the
Vice Chairman of the All
Progressives Congress (APC)
in charge of Bauchi South
Senatorial District, Musa
Adamu Lar has rescinded his
Briefing newsmen in a brief
ceremony witnessed by party
officials and Senator Bauchi
South, Senator Ali Wakili
over the weekend, the Vice
Chairman said he rescinded his decision as a result of the
persuasions of the stakeholders
of the party, urging him to
withdraw the letter of resignation
in the best interest of the party.
“Rescinding my resignation
is not a new thing in politics as
you could recall that President
Muhammad Buhari before the
last general election vowed
never to contest election again
but because of the pursuance
by Nigerians they forced him to
re-contest which he did for the
best interest of Nigerians and the
country in general,” he said.
Also speaking, the APC state
organizing secretary, Alhaji
Abdulkadir Lawan Gengen
said the Zonal Vice Chairman
resigned without making
consultations and after meeting
him, they advised him to
withdraw such letter as he is
not representing himself but
the entire people of the seven
local governments under his
Similarly, Alhaji Baba Mai Citta
chairman Kirfi local government
of the APC and the woman
leader, Mrs. Kande Ibrahim
said the resignation came to
them as a surprise but remained
happy now that he rescinded
his decision, considering that he
is a committed member of the
party that has contributed a lot
towards building the party.
It could be recall that on Friday,
the Vice Chairman Bauchi
South, Alhaji Musa Adamu Jar
addressed a press conference
tendering his resignation from
the party due to what he termed
as the prevailing circumstances
and political realities of present
APC in the state as well as the
dictates of the moment where
the ruling party lacks good
