Accreditation and voting have commenced simultaneously in Otuokpoti ward 2, unit 15 in Ogbia Local Government Area for the re-rum election of Bayelsa gubernatorial poll.

The accreditation stsrted at 8:15 am along side with voting in tbe unit. It was observed that, the card reader machines in the polling units were functional.

In Unit 16 Otuabagi, Otuekemi, ward 12 in Ogbia accreditation and voting began at 8:25 am.

Mr Mike Ebong, a voter in the unit told newsmen that the conduct was orderly.

In Ubabiri Open Space Unit 6, Ekpetiama 2, ward 2, Yenagoa Local Government Area, it was observed that voters turn was massive.

Mr James Tariowrie, residents in the area said that he decided to vote for the betterment of the state.

An INEC Officer, who prefer anonymity said that, the turnaout was preferable compared to the Dec 5 election.

“We may not be able to give the actual figure of the turnout now because we are doing accreditation and voting at the same time, so, still ongoing and we are progressing,” the officer said. .
