Onabajo, a cleric, gave the advice in Ibadan on Saturday at the presentation of his book entitled: “Communicating Christian Beliefs through Sermons: The Preacher’s Dilemma.”

He said he was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the book so as to resolve certain critical issues in sermon preparation and delivery‎.

Onabajo, a professor of Mass Communication, said he was able to enumerate in the book some of the characteristics of fake prophets and preachers the people must be aware of.

“I also noticed that many pastors have become comedians on the pulpit; the more pastors we have, the more sinful habits we now have in the society.
