Nigerian Army has insisted that its declaration of Ahmed Salkida, Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil wanted was because the trio failed to give the military detailed information on the operation of Boko Haram terrorists.
The Army also stated that the wanted persons have been invasive, wanting everything on their terms.
Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman gave the explanation, while interacting with defence correspondents on whatsapp group chat.
Col. Usman, thanked members of the group for all their kind contributions either directly on the forum or privately regarding to the declaration of Ahmed Salkida, Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wali wanted by the Nigerian Army stating further that, “We have taken note of contributions and the efforts of others at different fora on the same subject matter.
He said, “Please note that Ahmed Bolori and Aisha Wakil failed to give us more details. They were evasive. They wanted everything on their terms. Now it’s going to be on our terms. We are determined. They must cooperate. We have cleared most of the BHT hideouts. Though few are remaining. Our target is the remaining camps that are not accessible during the rains. They must mention their BHT contacts and their locations.
“It’s strategic to engage the alleged BHT negotiators so as to weaken their propaganda base. We cannot continue to drag this war any further. The military approach should be devoid of rhetorical postulation. We want actionable information for planning and execution of our operations”, Col. Usman explained.
