Olympic 100-metre sprint champion Usain Bolt has revealed that his favourite team in Spain is Real Madrid thanks to his long-held admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Just minutes after winning his third consecutive Olympic 100m gold in Rio on Sunday night, the Jamaican told Spanish radio station La Cope that he supports “Real Madrid, of course”.
“I like them because Cristiano Ronaldo is there,” the Jamaican declared. “He’s the best player in the world.”
Bolt, who has visited the Santiago Bernabéu once before, is a big fan of the Portuguese superstar. He also visited Manchester United on numerous occasions and has claimed that he has “supported Manchester United for years.”
The speedster even stated in May 2016 that he would “love to play” for United, but wasn’t so keen on the idea while Louis Van Gaal remained coach
