Bomb Victims Association of Nigeria, BVAN, has urged the federal government to include them in all rehabilitation programmes.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to Nigerian Pilot by its Chairman, Mr. Olatunji Kayode Oladele, in Abuja, yesterday.
Oladele said it is undemocratic to set up a fund and committee for victims of insurgency without their input.
According to the statement, the association has been registered under the Company and Allied Matters Decree 1 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Nigeria and Nigerians forget so easily, the time has come for us to start celebrating the dead by giving them a befitting memorial ceremony,” it stated
The association had last year accused the Victims Support Fund of embezzling funds meant for them.
