Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Hawul Local Government Area of Borno state, Honourable Usman Mamman Durkwa has expressed satisfaction with the large turnout of voters in rural communities of Marama, Kwajaffa, Shaffa, Tashan Alade, Kwayabura amongst others to exercise their franchise despite the fear of insecurity.
The Commissioner spoke to Journalists on Sunday at Azare the council headquarters of the council which has suffered series of Boko Haram attacks in recent times.
Durkwa who commended the people of the area for their peaceful conduct during the governorship and house of assembly elections, also urged them to continue to relate with one another and concede defeat, as according to him, in any election, there must be a winner and a loser.
