President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita as the substantive Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
The swearing-in took place at the Council Chambers of the State House before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting yesterday.
Oyo-Ita was appointed Acting Head of Service last October after the sack of Danladi Kifasi
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, read her citation after which she took her oath of office and oath of allegiance before the President signed the oath register.
Speaking with State House correspondents at the end of the brief ceremony, Oyo-Ita pledged to eliminate corruption in the system and work to boost the capacity of civil servants.
