Former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday donated N2 million to victims of the recent attacks in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that many people lost their lives and properties destroyed following the attack by gunmen at Ungwan Gata, Tyekum and Ungwan Sanki in Bundun District in the area.

Buhari, while making the donation at the palace of the paramount Chief of Maro’a, Mr Tagwai Sambo, condemned the killings and described them as “inhuman.”

He enjoined the people to live in peace with one another and prayed for God’s guidance in all their undertakings.

The APC chieftain also consoled with persons displaced by the violence who are now taking refuge at the Model Primary School, Bundun.

Responding, Chief Sambo expressed appreciation over the donation, saying that it will go a long way in alleviating the sufferings of the victims.
