President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday responded to the BBC interview with his wife, Aisha, where she questioned his leadership and threatened not to back him in next election if he does not shake-up his cabinet.

Buhari who is on a state visit to Germany, however reacted to the First Lady’s threat not to back him in next election during a joint press briefing with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“I don’t know which party my wife belongs to, but she belongs to my kitchen and my living room and the other room,” he laughed.

On political experience, Buhari said:

“I claim superior knowledge over her and the rest of the opposition, because in the end I have succeeded. It’s not easy to satisfy the whole Nigerian opposition parties or to participate in the government.”
