UNITED KINGDOM, UK Trade & Investment in collaboration with Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, NIPC and PwC are organising a Nigeria Trade & Investment Road Show to the UK from 11 – 15 July, 2016 in London for a select group of key officials from the Federal and State Governments to highlight business opportunities in the energy, agriculture, transport, solid minerals, ICT and infrastructure sectors to UK investors; key UK government agencies (UK Export Finance, Infrastructure and Projects Authority) and multipliers. The Nigeria Trade & Investment Road Show is a weeklong activity which begins with an industry event tagged “Nigeria Open for Business”. The Nigeria Open for Business event will feature key note speeches from the Nigerian Minister of Trade & Investment, Mr Okechukwu Enelamah and the UK Trade Envoy to Nigeria, John Howell. The objective of the road show is to create a platform for the Nigerian government to profile business opportunities to a UK audience, build relationships with international businesses, link into global value chains and establish links to development finance with the view to developing stronger commercial ties between Nigeria and UK. The delegation from Nigeria would be led by the Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah and will include Minister of Transport , Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Water Resources, Mr. Suleiman Adamu, Minister of State, Aviation, Sen Hadi Sirika UK Trade & Investment, UKTI, is the British government department that helps UK based companies of all sizes to grow and become more profitable by exporting their products and services. UKTI also support all types of overseas businesses and business people to establish a presence in the UK.
