CENTRAL BANK of Nigeria, CBN has said that it has commenced the implementation of its 2016 budget requirements. A statement obtained yesterday from the apex bank website explained that it requires the supply of HP Laptops under the 2016 Budget. CBN however said that the it will only deal with accredited HP Gold Partners to submit tender for the supply of the HP Laptops with the following specifications: Certificate of Compliance issued by the National Pension Commission as evidence of fulfilling employer’s obligation to employees with respect to pensions, evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association and evidence of payment of Tax for the last Three years as at when due (such evidence should reflect the value of the projects undertaken by the company in the last three years. Also contained in the condition issued by the apex bank include; evidence of Compliance Certificate with provisions of Section 6(1)(3) of the amended to Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act N0.19 of 2011, evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria FRCN and evidence of Registration from Hewlett Packard (HP) as a Gold Partner, Manufacturer’s authorization letter from HP Nigeria, Registration in BPP Database. CBN also advised operators to forward evidence of registration of National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers, Corporate profile of the firm including CV of key personnel registered address, functional contact email address, GSM phone number(s), and facsimile number. Audited accounts in the last three years, duty stamped by licensed Auditors, Verifiable evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past are also required with reference letter from a Bank stating the financial ability of the vendor to carry out such project.
