The trial of former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over a four-count charge of false declaration of assets and acceptance of about N70million bribe began in Abuja on Monday,.

At about 10.43am, the accused was asked by chairman of the tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, to enter the accused box. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The four-count charge against was filed on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) by Peter Danladi of the CCB on October 8, 2015.
