Most Senior Apostle of the C&S Movement Church Kubwa, Abuja, Olatodun Olayinka, has urged Christians to engage in constant exercise to keep fit as a way of promoting good health.
Apostle Olayinka stated this ahead of the church’s working and jogging exercise tagged, “Walk for Christ” scheduled for today.
Olayinka also revealed that the walk/jogging exercise is part of activities to mark the church’s 10th year anniversary while noting that most illnesses do not need prayers, they only need exercises.
“Even the Bible specifies that exercise profits the body, while spiritually we are being fed with the world of God, we need to feed our body with exercise so that we will be fit to serve God.
“What may not need prayers; we will use exercise to achieve,”the apostle concluded.
Other activities lined up to mark the anniversary include, praise night, revival and vigil, featuring appearances from notable musicians from across the country, on July 10, 2015.
Luncheon and award ceremony taking place next weekend.
The anniversary would be rounded off with a thanksgiving service at the church premises.
