Ifesowapo Cooperative, Thrift and Credit Society, CTSC, Owode-Ede in Osun State on Saturday celebrated its second Annual General Meeting, AGM, with a commendation to the state governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, for running “people oriented programmes.”
The society’s president, Prince Adebisi Arojojoye, who made the commendation while reading his anniversary address to members, said efforts of the incumbent administration in the state in uplifting people at the grassroots could not be over emphasised.
Arojojoye, who was reelected by members for another term alongside other five members of the executive, charged the government not to relent in its efforts by assisting people through the cooperative society.
The president, who thanked God for membership increase, protection and provision, commended members for doing well and for their support to him and other members of the executive since the establishment of the society two years back emphasising the need for Governor Aregbesola’s administration to continue to assist cooperative societies in the state as a way of touching the lives of the people the state.
Arojojoye also informed that the society was able to pay dividends to member for the preceding year and provided essential commodities for them as well assured that the society would continue to make members happy at all times in the new year.
