“A gang of four young men alleged to be members of Supreme Vickings Confraternity, SVC, killed one Sunday Igwe. The reason is that they were having tussle over leadership of that Vickings confraternity.
“We were meant to understand that the person that handed over to ‘Kawawa’ that is; Sunday Igwe did so without consulting other members of the gang because of that there has been rivalry within them because they have been having factions.
“For this reason, they have been trailing ‘Kawawa’ and eventually got wind of his whereabouts that he went to a native doctor at Ezza North where he went to collect charm for powers and they waylaid him.
“He went with two other colleagues of his in red Golf car, they waylaid them and pursued ‘Kawawa’ until they get to a place where the road is muddy near the quarry side. They attacked him there and they caught ‘Kawawa’ and used matchet to cut him to death because they do not kill their members with gun but with cutlass, that is how they killed ‘Kawawa’, the Police spokesman narrated.
DSP Anyanwu also disclosed the cult kingpin, Ogbule Justice popularly known as Stone Cold who killed Sunday Igwe was among the three other members of the cult group who were arrested through intelligence and well-coordinated operation at Nkaliki in Timaya Bush Bar.
“The trio was rounded up while conducting initiation of newly conscripted members at Timaya Bush Bar Nkaliki. On sighting the police, they opened fire and scampered for safety.
