A member of the Campaign Organisation of All Progressive Congress APC in Delta State, Chief Isaac Emetitiri has congratulated the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, on his nationwide victory at the presidential election.
The APC chieftain, who spoke yesterday in Warri, also urged the people of the state to vote for Olorogun Otega Emerhor, governorship candidate of the APC, on Saturday April 11.
“Let me emphasise that since the president-elect, Gen Buhari and Otega are of same party APC, it will be of great benefit to Deltans to vote for Otega who is determined to give Deltans a real change and democratic dividends which the PDP had deprived Deltans for the past 16 years.”
He stressed further that “in line with the Owviamuge declaration, Emerhor remains the sole candidate of the Urhobo nation. Delta State must take advantage of Buhari’s victory to embrace the change that has come to exist in Nigeria for a better life for our children.
“We appreciate Nigerians who were able to survive the past sixteen years of PDP underdevelopment, poor education, joblessness, insecurity and numerous abandoned projects in Delta State.”
