The governorship candidate of Labour Party, Chief Great Ogboru said there were irregularities in five local government areas in the state during last Saturday’s election.
Ogboru also condemned moves by some individuals who sabotaged the efforts of officials of Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in conducting a free and fair election.
Addressing newsmen at his Abraka residence, Ogboru, said: “We have recorded series of irregularities in five LGAs including parts of Ethiope East, Bomadi and Ika North East were the PDP candidate hails from.
“PVCs are brought in their hundreds and used to vote without being authenticated by the card readers.”
Meanwhile, there were skirmishes of violence in some polling units at Eku and environs while most of the electorate expressed dismay over what they described as the circulation of fake result sheets being used for the election.
