Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has appealed to the Delta State governor-elect, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa not to disappoint the Urhobo people.
He however, expressed optimism that Urhobo people would give Okowa’s government all the necessary supports and cooperation to enable it delivers effectively to Deltans.
Onuesoke, spoke recently, when members of Urhobo Renaisance Initiative visited and thanked for his support and contribution toward the electoral victory of Okowa.
Onuesoke explained that his optimism was based on the fact that Okowa is a grass root politician that has a pan Deltan agenda” He is an experience politician who knows the yearnings of Deltans. So the Urhobos should be rest assured that he is not going to disappoint them.”
He also urged the Urhobo people to be mindful and should not be deceived to leave PDP to opposition parties.
President of the group, in his remark, commended Onuesoke for his unflinching support for the Delta State governor elect, Okowa and the PDP in spite of threats and condemnation from some misguided Urhobos.
