DIAMOND Bank Plc on Wednesday appointed Chiugo Ndubuisi as its acting Chief Financial Officer, CFO, the lender said in an issuer’s announcement with the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE.
This is coming on the heels of the resignation of Abdulrahman Yinusa, Diamond Bank says Ndubuisi’s appointment as acting CFO is with immediate effect.
The bank says Ndubuisi has been with it for over 20 years and his most recent role was the divisional head of financial management.
According to the lender, he is a consummate professional with immense knowledge of the dynamics of the bank’s financial system and continues to play a key role in the design and execution of the strategic objectives of the bank.
Chiugo is a chartered accountant, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Nigeria and an MBA degree from the University of Lagos.
“He has held varying roles in the bank and has positive relationships with stakeholder communities,” the lender said.
