Since its commencement in The Federal Capita Territory, Abuja Step Out Nyte has remained a rallying point for many upcoming talents in the city. The show, which is in its 10th edition, promises to be great as popularly entertainer Chuk E will be featuring in the night.
The night will be hosted by DJ Eddie, DJ Embassey, Trusted amongst others.
In an interview with Nigerian Pilot Saturday, the organiser of the show Papie T explained that the desire for this show was borne out of increasing demands from artistes in Abuja to have a platform where they can showcase their talent.
“In light of increasing demand for entertainment platforms for talented youths
in the Federal Capital Territory and for a positive move to engage them in extracurricular activity, I decided to come up with the idea to host Abuja artistes on a common platform called, ‘Abuja Step Out Nyte”.
According to the artiste, Musical festivals have the power to not only entertain but inspire and educate adding that Abuja has remarkable talents
that need to be harnessed for stardom.
“The show will be a stepping block for so many upcoming artistes. This event will create an enabling environment for every creative youth within Abuja and the outskirts of the city to showcase their musical talents. Abuja musicians must unite and be open to criticisms. This monthly musical festival will also provide an enabling opportunity for the artiste as an individual and as a brand. It will also act as a strong medium of impacting on a mass gathering of youths.”

He stated that music is a noble profession thus musicians in the city must respect themselves. “Music is a noble profession not a gutter job. If you as a musician do not have the confidence within, you will continue to line-up for others.”
Music act, Queen Janex said ‘Abuja Step Out Nyte’ which will become a monthly event, will avail many upcoming artistes the platform to showcase their talent and interact with other mainstream acts.
She said there are many talented people in Abuja but most of them have not been given the platform to exhibit their talent.
