The Nigeria Under 23 team on wednesday beat host country Senegal in the on going U23 championship.

The coach Samson Siasia tutored lads took the day ahead of favoured Senegal.

Senegal was impressive in game but failed convert their chances, including a spotkick in the first half of the game.

However the skipper of the dream team Oghenekaro Etebo converted from the spot when a Senegalese defender collided with his own goal keeper and grabbed the ball with his hand to stop a Nigerian player from scoring. He was further shown a red card for handling the ball.

With this win Nigeria have booked a place in 2016 Olympics to be held in Rio de Jenerio, Brazil.
