Director-General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Mr. Ita Ekpeyong was absent when President Muhammadu Buhari again met with the service chiefs in the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
Buhari’s meeting with the service chiefs yesterday was the third in the series since his assumption of office on May 29.
It was, however, noted that unlike the era of former President Goodluck Jonathan, when such meetings had the Director General of the DSS in attendance, the DG was not present at this meeting.
Nigerian Pilot gathered that Buhari, who arrived the office yesterday at about 10am, went into meetings with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, some presidential aides and some personnel of the villa.
Buhari is expected to make some announcements on appointments of ministers soon.
