Plenary had hardly begun at about 11.05am when members who were obviously enraged by media reports about the conduct of aides to the Speaker with respect to their beating up of a Court bailiff, were seen shouting at each other.
Sensing the very tense mood in the house, Mr Ojo Asein, member representing (APC Owan West ) there after moved a motion for the house to adjourn sine die.
Acting on the motion, the speaker, Victor Edoror, adjourned plenary for two weeks and after the adjournment said” gentlemen of the press I was caught unawares”.
“We are heading for an executive session to find out their grievances and resolve the crisis. I believe that the issues are resolvable,” Edoror said.
