The Edo House of Assembly on Thursday passed the state’s 2016 budget estimates of N116.6 billion.

The budget which was presented on Dec. 14, 2015, by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole was proposed at N111.5 billion to the House for consideration and passage.

The budget as presented by the governor consists of N58.9billion for capital expenditure while the proposed recurrent expenditure stood at N52.6 billion.
