Association of Nigeria Premier League Club Chairmen and Managers, Club Owners have sent a goodwill message to all the relevant stakeholders in the football family as they join others across the world to observe the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Club Owners, specifically greeted the entire Muslim faithful and enjoined them to use the occasion to pray for the growth and development of sports in Nigeria, football in particular as a unifying factor that encourages peace, unity and corporate existence of our country.
According to a statement issued by the association in Abuja, Wednesday, and signed by the Ag. Chairman, Barr Isaac Danladi and Ag. Secretary, Alloy Chukwuemeka, the association extended the Sallah message to the Director General of the National Sports Commission, Malam Alhassan Yakmut, the president, members and staff of the Nigeria Football Federation, the chairman and Management of the League Management Company.
They equally felicitated with Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women Premier League, Nigeria Nation-Wide League, the Players Union, all the football clubs in the country, all tiers of the national teams, the coaches association, the Nigeria Football Referees Association, Sports Writers Association, the Red cross, stadium Managers, the security agencies, match commissioners, supporters clubs, fans clubs and other football followers.
The Association specifically commended the uncommon transformation of the elite league in Nigeria by the management of the LMC under Mallam Shehu Dikko, which has attracted commendations from both local and foreign football observers and enjoined all the stakeholders to join hands in moving Nigeria football forward.
“It is the synergy of our collective efforts as relevant stakeholders that will help us in building the capacity to sustain the tempo of the growth as well as develop new strategies to compete favorably with other organized football nations of the world,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, all roads leads to the Lagos Business School, Lekki Lagos, for a high level Sportspro organized management and administrative capacity building workshop for all the club chairmen and the 20 premier league club media officers.
The event which holds between September 28 and 30 would also attract participants from other sectors of the nation’s economy as well as foreign resource persons and participants.
