Embattled Senator, Prince Buruji Kashamu has finally made a bold public appearance after being sworn in into the red chambers.  The Ogun State born billionaire cum politician was one of the heavyweight guests who turned up last week as one of the princes of late Ooni of Ife, Adegbite got married to his love, Marcy Dolapo Oni, a TV personality and host in Lagos.
Adegbite and Dolapo had before now had their traditional marriage in Lagos with family and friends in attendance, and last week Sunday August 2nd, was the day picked for their white wedding. And amongst the guests who made the event thick was Senator Kashamu.
In his usual style, Kashamu wore an ash colour Agbada with a native black cap to match. He was seen in the company of his friend, Peter Ayodele Fayose, the governor of Ekiti State who also came to the event in style.
Though both didn’t spend much time at the event, they were spotted beaming with joy and taken pictures with the celebrants along with other dignitaries.
To the friends of the embattled Senator, seeing Kashamu step out in this mood is what they would continue to pray for. This is because in the past few months, Kashamu has faced the greatest nightmare of his life as the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA tried to extradite him to the United States of America on drug related offences. During that period the agency operatives laid siege to his Lekki home for six days from Saturday, May 23 to Thursday, May 28, 2015, but a well-determined Kashamu refused to bow to pressure as he had to confine himself in his bathroom throughout the period. But following a court order directing the narcotics agency to vacate the house, Kashamu regained his freedom and now he’s back to the social scene.
