Super Eagles shot stopper Vincent Enyeama may be losing his Coach at his Ligue 1 side, Lille in the weeks ahead reports from France suggests.
According to Wednesday’s L’Équipe, Lille are one step closer to the departure of René Girard after the manager met with President Michel Seydoux yesterday to finalise a mutual termination agreement.
Girard is expected to receive close to €800k in pay-off, with his current deal expiring in June 2016.
HervéRenard remains the frontrunner for the job, and is locked in wage discussions with Lille at present.
LOSC’s main problem is the Ivory Coast, who are demanding a pay-off. Other individuals that have been mentioned in recent weeks are ZulteWaregem’s manager FranckyDury and Guingamp’s Jocelyn Gourvennec.
Enyeama has indeed blossomed under Girard and he will keen to enjoy similar if not better under who comes in the saddle after the exit of the present boss.
