Chairman of Enyimba International, Felix Anyansi has disclosed that there is no deal yet between his club and CS Sfaxien for midfielder Kingsley Sokari after the Tunisian side failed to fulfill their own part of bargain.
Anyansi who revealed this to Nigerian Pilot Sports noted that though Sokari had gone ahead to sign his personal contract with the team, the actual transfer fee has not been paid.
According to him; “It’s not about agreement, its about meeting the contractual terms. And until the contract is met, no deal.”
Sokari who failed to debut for new Tunisian club at the weekend after the payment of his transfer fee to Enyimba did not go through as expected.
The Tunisian club could not complete all the processes needed for the payment of the transfer fee to the player’s Nigerian club Enyimba.
“We believe this will be completed in the new week and then he could be registered by his new club,” disclosed his representative, Vincent Alumona.
Sokari has signed a three and half year contract with CSS after a move to local rivals Esperance crashed at the last minute earlier this year.
