NIGERIAN stock exchange closed on a positive note on Monday as NSE ASI appreciated by 0.49% to close at 25,828.30basis points, compared with the 0.54% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -9.82%.
Market breadth closed positive as Unilever led 28gainers against 20losers topped by GSK at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume surged by 209.18% against 1.25% uptick recorded in the previous session. Access Bank, Transcorp and UBA were the most active to boost market turnover. Access Bank and NB top market value list.
